Eddy Merckx – 2011 A Series

Lifetime Warranty
Eddy Merckx believes in the quality of their frames and therefore they all have a limited lifetime warranty.

2011 Eddy Merckx AMX-5 Frame Kit
The A-series alloy frames have a higher strength to weight index than steel, but that is no reason to use it in excess. Eddy Merckx’s triple butted tubing allows them to reduce aluminum in places where it was unnecessary, and smooth welding means there are literally no joints to be seen.

Eddy Merckx cycles are the unique users of the EMs7000 scandium alloy tube. it’s a different shape than the rest of the market – it’s uses the form of a bell – and delivers a stiffer feel and stronger construction for the same weight. it makes our scandium alloy bikes lighter, stiffer and more robust.

Eddy Merckx Cycles have years of experience in the development of aluminium frames. The many victories won using aluminium Eddy Merckx bicycles during equipment-intensive competitions – such as the Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders – are the best evidence of their success in doing so. Their collection has no fewer than 3 different alloys, with Scandium being the absolute summit: Scandium 7000 TB for AMX-5 model – the elite geometry designed for elegance, and performance. Its profile is both racy, and ergonomically optimal.

2011 Eddy Merckx AMX-4 Frame Kit
The A-Series alloy frames have a higher strength to weight index than steel, but that is no reason to use it in excess. Our triple butted tubing allows Eddy Merckx Cycles to reduce aluminium in places where it was unnecessary, and smooth welding means there are literally no joints to be seen. THE ELITE GEOMETRY frames have been designed for elegance and performance. Its profile is both racy and ergonomically optimal.

    Hello!

Can I know if you guys carry AFX complete bikes? I’m considering both AFX-1 and AFX-4. If you do, may I know how much they cost please? Also, does AFX-1 come with the 105 groupset? If yes, how much?

    Thanks so much!

You mean a full set-up bike like this -> http://www.thebikeshop.de/WebRoot/Store22/Shops/62303450/4D30/1550/B456/E657/FC43/C0A8/28BD/7FD7/2011AMX_5-SH.jpg?

Yes, it’s possible to set up a similar bike as mention in the above link but the price will still depend on the components you are planning to install on this bike.
