Edwin’s EMX-3 Bike Check

Edwin also known as “Yandao” has been sponsored by Tiong Hin with an Eddy Merckx EMX-3 frameset for his love, and passion in road cycling, and his commitments to both Eddy Merckx, and us. When the bike was ready, Edwin went for a test ride immediately (*From Tiong Hin -> Coastal -> Selarang -> Back to Tiong Hin), and was very satisfied with the overall performance of the bike. Take a look below at his valuable feedback, and photos taken on this EMX-3…

“This bike is real stiff and aggressive. It doesn’t flex like my previous titanium frame during off saddle or sprint. Can feel the acceleration for every stroke u pedal. Pick up is fast, but maintaining it at such pace is most important. This is my first carbon bike as I rode titanium frame for the past 2 yrs, and it’s a big different. A more aerodynamic frameset and it makes a perfect geometry for me. It allow me to go more aero, giving me a right body angle and a more comfortable ride. A normal bike-fit will make this a perfect bike to ride on. However it’s still the training that matter most. Will update you when i go for longer ride.” – Edwin
